Counselling is a talking therapy which allows you to work through any difficulties you may be having in your life. It provides you with a safe and supportive environment in which to explore your feelings and issues. As an Integrative Therapist I use a variety of therapeutic approaches/ways of working, which may include Person Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and/or Brief Solution Focused Therapy. This will vary depending on what is best suited to the particular client and the issue(s) and whether it is relatively straight forward current concerns or more complex long term work. Counselling helps you to understand yourself and your difficulties and to develop new ways of coping, allowing you to move forward and live the life you deserve.
